Hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the Turkish embassy in Moscow on Wednesday to show their anger over the downing of a Russian Su-24 warplane, which was shot down by the Turkish air force on Tuesday.
Over 600 Russians had already rallied around the embassy on Tuesday evening, holding posters showing “stab in the back”, “not going to Turkey”. The protest lasted for over an hour with Russian policemen maintaining order at the scene, Xinhua reported.
