Passing of resolution against Chief Executive Officer under MIM’s pressure, resented Muslims. Protests were conducted by various organisations of the city and districts against it. CPI and other organisations staged protest at Hajj House, Nampally against the resolution passed against Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Asadullah and returning of his services to Revenue Department. The dharna was staged by various organisations led by ex-MP Rajya Sabha Syed Aziz Pasha. The protestors demanded that the government retain devoted officials and do not yield to MIM’s pressure. They said CPI and other organisations will begin state level protest programme on the issue.
