Protest at Makkah Masjid against police firing in Kishan Bagh

Curfew hit area of Rajender Nagar witnessed peace yesterday. No unpleasant incident occurred. Police decided to relax for 4 hours in the afternoon today. Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Mr. C. V. Anand and other police officials visited curfew hit areas.

After Jumma Prayer at Makkah Masjid the irritated crowd shouted slogan against the police firing in Kishan Gunj area. Some of them pelted stones near Moghalpura fire station, Khaja ka Chilla and Ishrath Mahal Function Hall. Five Vehicles were damaged and an auto driver were injured. The crowd also pelted stones at a bank. Police had made elaborate arrangement near Makkah Masjid. Police arrested 23 accused and sent them to jail. It was reported that police barged into the houses of the Muslims and started arresting the Muslim youths. Criminal cases have also been registered against some youths and many of them have been arrested.
