TRS, MPs upped the ante in the Lok Sabha demanding amendments to the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution empowering the States to increase reservation for weaker sections even as Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s call for a Third Front became the hot topic of discussion in Parliament. The TRS MPs stalled the proceedings in the Lok Sabha after Speaker Sumitra Mahajan rejected their adjournment motion in this regard. They were joined by TDP MPs from Andhra Pradesh who raised the Special Category Status issue, forcing the Speaker to adjourn the session till Tuesday.
