Chairman Maulana Azad National Urdu University Action and Struggle Committee Maulana Syed Tariq Quadri termed the criminal silence of elected public representatives belonging to Urdu knowing community, over MANUU irregularities and illegal recruitments, as unfortunate. ‘The difference in saying and doing of public representatives is becoming the cause of destruction of the Maulana Azad National Urdu University, the greatest university in the subcontinent, established for preservation of Urdu.’ He reiterated.
Addressing a meeting held at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall by MANUU Action and Struggle Committee he said ‘government cannot overlook the public protest for the subsistence of democratic principles in a democracy, but despite continuous protest against irregularities rampant at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, giving liberty to vice chancellor and executive committee is synonymous to playing with the Urdu language.’
The MANUU action committee has announced to stage all party dharna on June 27, at Maulana Azad National University city centre, located at Hajj House.
