(Siasat News) MBT recorded a strong protest against the demolition of the houses of the poor people in Bandlaguda. The situation turned violent. MBT lodged a compliant that Revenue Officials are violating the orders of the court whereas the revenue officials contended that they did not violate court orders but they demolished the structures which were constructed violating the court orders.
Dr. Khayam Khan, Convener, MBT and Corporator of Azampura Amjadullah Khan Khalid and Saleh Bahameed were present on this occasion. MBT alleged that Revenue officials are working under political pressure. Dr. Khayam Khan said that on Survey number 302 court ordered to maintain status quo. But the demolition action taken by Revenue authorities is the violation of court orders.
He alleged the Revenue Officials that they are dancing to the tunes of a political party. He said that if the Revenue authorities are so much concerned about the preservation of Govt. lands why don’t they take any action against the land grabbers and the land mafia. When a political party places the matter of land grabbing in the review meeting of Assembly, then why don’t the Revenue Officials remember the cases of land grabbers?
He warned the Revenue officials of the dire consequences.
