Students of Osmania University supporting Telangana, protested against Mr. KCR in front of Arts College on Osmania University Campus yesterday. They tried to burn the effigy of Mr. KCR but the local police foiled their efforts terming it as violation of Election Code of Conduct. The students were irritated on not giving TRS ticket to Syed Ibrahim for Mahboob Nagar Assembly Constituency. They alleged that TRS is adopting anti-Muslim Policy. It may be noted that in the last bye-elections of Mahboob Nagar the connivance of TRS with BJP and Telangana Political JAC was responsible for the defeat of Syed Ibrahim in Mahboob Nagar. The students of Osmania University belonging to Minority communities demanded all the political parties to give maximum tickets to Muslim candidates. They expressed their intension to continue their protest till they get justice.
