For protection of personal law unity is necessary: Milli Council meeting

(Siasat News) Communalism, bribe and dishonesty are the factors which are the hindrances in the development of the country. A large conference titled “Ettehad-e-Millat Conference” was held in Warangal on 29th December. Delegates from various states participated in the conference. A resolution was passed demanding the Govt. to representations to the Muslims according to their populations. It urged to consider various issues relating to Muslims before anti-communal rights bills is passed in Parliament. Thousands of Muslims youths are in jails without producing charge sheet in court. They should be released immediately.

Maulana Mohammed Abdullah Mugheesi, Chairman of All India Muslim Personal Law Board and Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahim Qureshi, Asst. General Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board presided over the meeting.

Maulana Kaka Sayeed Omeri, told that there was peace and tranquility in India but the imperialist forces divided India by adopting “Divide and Rule policy”. He urged the need the unity of the Muslims.

Mr. Khwaja Arifuddin, Ameer Jamat-e-Islami of A.P. told that a large number of evils have piled up in this country. People are worried and women are anxious about their security. Selling of wine has become common. In such a situation it is the duty of Muslims to propagate virtue and eradicate evils.

Maulana Abul Hasan (Pratabgard) told that the previous nations violated the tenets of Quran and one can see who they were destroyed. Maulana Taqi Raza Abedi told that Muslims should prove to be good persons. Maulana Aasi Mohammed Gulzar Qasimi (U.P) told that if Muslims are united, their personal law would be protected. Dr. M.S. Sudhakar, representing the Christians told that religious leaders have to fulfill their responsibility to eradicate corruption.

Maulana Anees-Ur-Rahman Qasmi told that all the human beings have been created from one father and one mother. It is therefore a sin to create differences among them. Prof. Kancha Illiah told that the communal elements have destroyed the country. He declared that he is not a Hindu and he is a dalith. It is sinful for me to associate myself with the Brahmins. In this country the message of Allah (SWT) has been propagated by the Muslims in this country. He told that so long as Muslims do not propagate the teachings of Quran among the daliths, they will fall prey to in security.

Dr. Manzoor Alam, General Secretary of Milli Council told that if equality and justices are establish, peace could be found in this country. Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani told that Hindu, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians are all brethren. If they are united, country can progress. He appealed to compatriots to exhibit unity for the development of peace. The conference was attended by a large number of Muslims and the people from other religions.
