Abu Dhabi, March 13: Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said that protecting the community from crimes is a national goal that is being actively achieved to preserve security which is as a pillar of stability in all societies.
“The (UAE) federal government always seeks to harness state-of-the-art technology and continuous training to the best interests of the public as well as staff members,’ Shaikh Saif added stressing on the national role the country’s leadership plays to provide welfare, prosperity and safety for the public.
Shaikh Saif made his remarks during a visit to the Abu Dhabi Police where he viewed two new projects, the mobile monitoring cameras project and the CCTV spontaneous translation project. The two projects provide 24/7 field coverage and input to the operations room as well as real-time two-way communication with translators at the main centre.
Shaikh Saif was accompanied by Lt.-General Saif Abdullah Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major-General Nasser Lakhreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of Shaikh Saif bin Zayed, and other senior officers. —
