NEW DELHI: News Corp-backed realty portal PropTiger.com today said luxury flats listed on its website would also be available on MansionGlobal.com.
High-end luxury homes in India listed on its portal would also be available on MansionGlobal.com, a global luxury real estate website launched by Dow Jones & Co, a unit of News Corp, in May 2015, PropTiger said in a statement.
In November last year, News Corp acquired a 25 per cent stake in Singapore-based Elara Technologies Pte Ltd which owns PropTiger.Com.
Noida-based PropTiger, which was founded in February 2011, helps customers through the entire process of buying a home, including search, property identification, price negotiation, documentation, home loan facilitation and post sales services.
In April this year, PropTiger acquired rival Makaan.com for an undisclosed amount as it aims to ramp up presence in India’s secondary property market.
“Luxury homes across India have witnessed an appreciation in prices over the last few quarters, despite the overall residential market remaining very soft,” PropTiger CEO Dhruv Agarwala said, adding that the portal would now target a wider audience of potential NRI buyers through MansionGlobal.com.
News Corp Senior Vice President, Strategy Raju Narisetti said Indian home-buyers both in India and abroad have emerged as a global force in recent years.
