Proposed Hajj House in fresh controversy

While the State Hajj Committee has refused to accept Waqf land for the construction of new Hajj House, the proposed Hajj House has landed in a fresh controversy. In a meeting held on Monday the state Hajj Committee has refused to construct Hajj House on the Waqf Board land. Passing a resolution the Hajj Committee demanded to allot government land on any suitable place in Greeter Hyderabad limits for the construction of Hajj Hose. If government land is not available then government should acquire any other land excepting Waqf Board land for the purpose.

Hajj Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Khaleeluddin Ahmed in which members maintained that the 10 acre Waqf Board land allotted at Pahadi Shareef should not be accepted as construction of Hajj House on the said land would violate the mansha-e-waqf.
