Proportionate representation of Muslims in Parliament demanded

Mr. Khalid Rasool Khan, President of All India Muslim Sangam demanded Govt. of India to ensure proportionate representation of the Muslims in Parliament according to their population. He was addressing a seminar addressed by Muslim Sangam. He told that due to inadequate representation of Muslims in Parliament, atrocities on the Muslims are on the increase. He further told that there is a need for the Muslim leaders to participate in politics in large numbers.

President of Human Life Awakening Society, Maulana Syed Tariq Khadri demanded justice for the Muslim. Mr. Nayeemullah Shareef suggested that Wakf properties should be developed and said that the steps taken by the Govt. are not enough. The victims should be given financial assistance. Maulana Syed Hamid Husain Shuttari, Spokesperson of Sunni Ulema Board and Mr. Mirza Yousuf Baig, Vice President of Indian Union Muslim League, A.P. Branch and others participated in the seminar.
