Property of the Muslims is linked up with self employment: Amer Ali Khan

Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor Siasat in his speech emphasized that the financial condition of the Muslims could be developed by their participation in self-employment programmes. He said that today the Muslims have become backward in the field of education. The reason is that they are not paying attention to education. They are not getting employment because of lack of education and hence they are facing troubles.

Mr. Amer Ali Khan was addressing a gathering in Town Hall of Mahboobnagar yesterday where a function was organized to create an awareness among the Muslims about various educational and welfare programmes offered by the Govt.

He was addressing the meeting of the Free Summer Camp organized by the Muslims Awareness Committee of Mahboobnagar as a chief guest. The Free Summer Camp was organized since 1st May 2012. In this Summer Camp students were given free training in MS-Office (Computer) Mehendi Designing, Tailoring, Beautician, Flower Arrangement, Sea Shell Handicrafts, Karchobe Work, Hardware etc.

These training programmes are being offered to the Muslim students for the past seven years.

Mr. Amer Ali Khan told that with the Urdu teaching programmes of Urdu Dani etc. Nearly 15 lakh students have been benefited since 1990. Siasat has so far issued more than 10 lakh certificates to the successful candidates.

He told that Siasat organized Physical training for the candidates to make them eligible for the post of police constable. So far 540 Muslims were selected as police constables. He advised the Muslim students to excel in the field of education. He informed that Siasat has organized such training programmes in Hyderabad city and in some districts.

If any person or institution wants any guidance or assistance in the area of self employment, Siasat will be prepared to offer its help. He announced that if any institution wants to establish a computer center or sewing center, Siasat would provide computers and sewing machines.

Mr. P. Madhu, former MP of Rajya Sabha applauded the assistance provided by Siasat in various job-oriented and Welfare schemes.

He advised the Muslim youths to take advantage of these schemes. He told that the Muslims are confronted with many problems and the Govt. is not coming forward to help them. It is, therefore necessary for the Muslims to take benefit of the Welfare schemes and start self-employment ventures President of Muslims Awareness Committee Dr. Madhusudhan Reddy, on this occasion addressed the gathering and told the Muslims to take advantage of the loan schemes of Minorities Finance Corporation. He told that the Muslims are required to work hard these days.

They have become the most backward group. The other persons are looking at them with strange looks. Referring to the security check of Shahrukh Khan at the American Airport, he said he was searched only because he is a Muslim. He also quoted the examples of famous lyricist Mr. Javed Akhtar and his wife Ms. Shabana Azmi that they could not get a rental accommodation in Mumbai because they are Muslims.

He told that India is a secular country and we have to remove all such misunderstandings spread among the people.

President of Muslim Awareness Committee Mr. Mohammed Ismail and Mr. Mohammed Abdul Quadeer General Secretary, Mr. Abdullah Kotwal, Mr. Mohsin Khan (TRS) Mr. Samad Khan (TDP), Mr. B. Janardhan (TRS) also spoke on this occasion.

Mr. Amer Ali Khan and Mr. P. Madhu distributed awards to successful candidates of various disciplines. Mementos were presented to the Siasat trainee Ms. Khadija Sultana and others.
