New Delhi, January 02: A 35-year-old property dealer was shot at by two motorcycle-borne men in south-west Delhi today with police suspecting it to be a case of property dispute.
The incident took place in Najafgarh at around 3:30 pm, and the victim has been identified as Dilbagh Shokeen.
Shokeen was in his office when two men on a motorcycle came there and opened fire at him. Police suspect the two persons to be villagers who had dispute with him over a property.
“Five bullets were fired on his leg. All of them hit his leg,” a senior police official said, adding all bullets were removed after a surgery.
The official said they have identified two suspects but they are yet to be arrested.
A case of attempt to murder has been registered.
