Greater Noida, March 04: A 35-year-old property dealer was shot dead and his body dumped near his car after the unidentified assailants disfigured his face in Kasna area, police said here today.
Ajay Pal alia Papu Bhati had left home at Dabra last evening on getting a call purportedly from a customer and when he did not reach back home his family members searched for him the whole night before informing police.
The victim’s relatives could not identify him immediately as his face was severely disfigured as the assailants had used some heavy object, said S K Verma, Superintendent of Police (rural).
He said prima facie it appeared as if he was shot dead in car and his body pulled out and face disfigured.
Liquor bottles were recovered from the car.
