Properties conflict of Nizam family puts public in inconvenience

The conflicts of properties of the family members of Asif Jahi Dynasty are causing inconvenience to the public. Princess Eisin Girls’ High School and Princess Durru Shehvar Children’s Hospital, Purani Haveli are the properties of Mukarram Jah Trust. Princess Eisin School is run by Nizamia Hyderabad Women’s Association. It is rated high in the schools of old city. It was started in 1947. This school is adjacent to Masarath Mahal which is the property of Mukaram Jah Trust. In the same manner, Durru Shehvar Children’s Hospital was started in 1989. It is one of the famous hospitals of the old city.

Two days back, Mr. Vidya Sagar Rao, Advocate of Mukarram Jah Trust served eviction notices to both this institutions under the pretext that they are avoiding to enter into rental agreements, period of lease and other formalities. If this girls’ school is shifted to other place, the people of the old city would be put to a lot of inconvenience. The hospital is also a boon to the people of old city. Attempts were being made to persuade these institutions to enter into agreements but since they have not responded to these attempts, the trustees of Mukarram Jah Trust have decided to take legal action against them. Durru Shehvar Children’s Hospital is run by Princess Durru Shehvar Children’s Medical Aid Society. It is located on 11300 Sq.Yards. it is reported that Mukarram Jah Trust had initiated proceedings for the sale of this land to the hospital but the matter did not progress. The girls’ high school is situated on an area of 3 acres. Mukarram Jah Trust claims that it is its property. The girls’ school is named after wife of Prince Muffakham Jah and the hospital is named after Princess Durru Shehvar who is the mother of Prince Mukarram Jah and Prince Muffakham Jah.
