Telangana Malala JAC on Sunday demanded that the government promote the SC/ST senior lecturers working in the government polytechnics as heads of sections.
Speaking to the media here, the JAC chairman B Deepak Kumar said that the government was showing negligence in giving promotions to SC, ST senior lecturers as head of section. As per GO No 47, promotion would be provided to SC, ST lecturers, who had two years seniority and passed in second class in qualifying education as senior lectors and for senior lecturers as head of section. The GO was not being implemented. (NSS)
