‘Nanhi Kali’ an NGO is conducting an auction of designer jewellery for the cause of educating the girl child. The amount collected through this will be spent on girls’ education. The jewellery exhibition will be held at Tibarumal Jewelers Basheer Bagh from May 2 to 4 and the auction will be held on June 6 at Christie’s Auction House, Mumbai. Dr. Preetha Bhakta Education Research and Learning Institute Nandi Foundation told this. Tibarumal Jewellers owners told that the International Gem Stone Company Gemfields will support for the cause. The project is named as Project Blossoming.
The ‘Project Blossoming’ collection will tour India, visiting each of the designers’ boutiques, before returning to Mumbai on 6 June, where the collection will be auctioned by Christie’s at an exclusive black-tie event. The proceeds raised from the sale will go directly to this very worthy cause, which aims to raise enough money to support a minimum of 2,000 girls.
