Prohibitory orders issued in Hyderabad

Hyderabad September 17 (Siasat News): Hyderabad Police Commissioner A K Khan today issued orders prohibiting every kind of strikes, public meetings or processions, for the next 11 days. According to a notice issued by the police department the prohibitory orders will be in force from September 17 till September 28.

A day ahead of Telangana Liberation Day celebrations announced by some political and prejudiced organizations the prohibitory orders were put into force from 6 pm in the evening on September 16.

In view of the Ganesh Procession later on September 22 and the proposed verdict on Babri Masjid case on September 24 strict precautionary measures are being taken. It must be remembered that few months back curfew had to be imposed in old city following communal clashes.

According to Mr. A K Khan certain forces are trying to incite communal animosity between different communities owing to that strict precautionary steps are being taken. He warned that those violating the orders will be liable for strict prosecution under the law.
