Progress in Shifu Sunkriti case: Mumbai Police informs

Mumbai: In a ‘drug and sex racket’ case, a man was arrested by Mumbai cops and the investigation is in progress. When the parents of two young women registered an FIR against Sunil Kulkarni for carrying out a ‘drug and sex’ racket, with his group.

Mumbai Police Crime Branch informed the High court that an FIR was lodged with them in a seal packed envelope. The court claimed that they were shocked while looking into the details of the case, according to a news report by Indian Express.

The young women who accused Sunil Kulkarni, have approached the court through their lawyer seeking to file an intervention. The court has asked the lawyer to file the application/intervention that would be looked into by the court in the next hearing.

The crime branch also informed a division bench, headed by Justice Ranjit More that it was on the lookout for another co-accused. However, the court showed its satisfaction with the progress of the investigation and asked the police to trace the other members who were involved in the cult.

The Bombay High Court had directed the police to file an FIR, against Sunil Kulkarni in the last hearing, after which he got arrested. He would drug the young girls in order to have sex with them with his other group members.
