To highlight the achievements of the Union Ministry of Labour & Employment on completion of three years of NDA government, a program will be organized on June 1 at Ravindra Bharati here at 10 am.
The Labour Welfare Organization under Union Ministry of Labour & Employment was rendering services to the unorganized sectors of Beedi/Cine/Limestone Dolomite/IOMC/Mica Mine workers. The LWO was implementing Health, Scholarship, Housing schemes to the workers.
Labour Welfare Organization in the last three years from 2014 to 2017 has disbursed scholarship amount of Rs 30,37,53,470 to 6,97,398 beneficiaries under the scheme of payment of scholarships. Under the Revised Integrated Housing Scheme, 2016, some 550 applications were under active consideration. (NSS)
