Hyderabad, January 20: (Siasat News) 30th Annual Conference of Chemists was held at the Dept. of Chemistry, Osmania Univeristy as part of International year of chemistry.
Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. M.M. Taqi Khan, formver Professor and Head of Dept of Chemistry, O.U. He is a distinguished Osmanian and a scientist of International repute. He worked as Director of Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhaonagar, Gujarat from 1982-91. Prof. S. Satyanarayana, V.C. of O.U. presented this award to him.
He has been selected for this award for his valuable contribution in the filed of chemistry.
