Hyderabad: Telangana government has approved the name of Prof. S A Shukoor, Special Officer Hajj Committee for inclusion into Committee for selection of buildings for Indian Hajj pilgrims during Hajj 2017.
Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel issued orders in this connection. The GO stated that Telangana government nominated Prof. S A Shukoor as member of Building Selection Committee. He will be included in the selection committee for buildings for the Indian pilgrims of Hajj 2017. Telangana Hajj Committee will pay Prof. Shukoor’s travelling charges and the period of his tour will be counted as duty days.
It must be noted that every year Building Selection Committee comprising of 3 or 4 members is sent by the central government for selection of buildings for Indian pilgrims. Prof. S A Shukoor had travelled as member of Building Selection Committee in the past also.
