Foreign Ministry and Central Hajj Committee has called a meeting of Chairpersons of all the Hajj Committees and Executive Officers to review the problems faced during arrangements of Hajj 2015. The meeting will be held on November 19, in Mumbai. Prof. S A Shukoor will represent Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. As no separate Special Officer has been appointed for Andhra Pradesh government hence Prof. S A Shukoor has been requested to represent Andhra Pradesh too. He will ask the Central Hajj Committee to allot Hajj quota proportionate to the Muslim population of both the states because during the current year less quota was allotted to Telangana despite more Muslim population.
