The government has appointed Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Director and Secretary of the Urdu Academy as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation. Special Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel issued orders in this connection. Prof. S A Shukoor assumed additional charge after the orders were issued. The additional charge was given by the government to Prof. Shukoor with complete powers to improve the performance of Minority Finance Corporation and effective implementation of schemes.
While Mohammed Hashim’s services have been returned to Revenue Department. It must be recalled that on October 9, 2013, Mohammed Hashim Shareef’s services were acquired from Revenue department and he was appointed Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation on October 15, 2013. However due to delay in implementation of MFC schemes the government was not satisfied with the services of Mohammed Hashim Shareef.
It must be noted that Prof. S A Shukoor is already holding three major posts; secretary/director Urdu Academy, Director CEDM and Special Officer Hajj House.
