Hyderabad, January 1: Government of Andhra Pradesh appointed Prof. S A Shukoor, director of Centre for Educational Development of Minorities, as executive officer of the State Hajj Committee with full additional charge.
Prof Shukoor replaced G Mahboob Peeran and took his charge yesterday evening.
Hajj committee chairman Mr. Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed welcomed Prof. Shukoor and hoped that he will render remarkable services for hajj committee and for the guidance of Hajj pilgrims.
Hajj committee member Mr. Syed Raza Husain Azad said that Mr. S A Shukoor is a young and dynamic personality and Hajj committee has great expectations from him.
