The controversy over remarks made by Union Minister of State for Skill Development Anantkumar Hegde on secularism and the Constitution refuses to die down.
Renowned author, activist Prof. Ram Puniyani reacted to the comment made by Hegde where he said that his party, the ruling BJP, will “soon change the Constitution,” which mentions the word “secular.” He was attacking what he called a “new fad where people project themselves as secular.”
