Renowned writer and poet Prof. K R Iqbal Ahmed, Director Distance Education, Maulana Azad National University, Hyderabad has been appointed as president Kannada Sahitya Sammelana. The Sammelana will be conducted on January 30 at Nellore. Every year a number of writers, poets and intellectuals gather in the cultural and literary conference which is called as Sammelana in Kannada language. The programme is attended by numerous organisors, policy makers and political thinkers besides thousands of participants.
