Congress MP (Rajya Sabha) M A Khan claimed that announcement of separate Telangana formation will soon be made. Following his meeting with Congress Core Committee members in New Delhi, he spoke to Siasat news on his arrival at Hyderabad and told that Congress Party has almost decided Telangana formation and it is committed to its promise made on December 9, 2009.
After seeking report from chief minister, deputy chief minister and Pradesh Congress President the Congress Core Committee has decided bifurcation of the state. The decision will be finalized in the Congress Working Committee Meeting to be held at the end of current month.
M A Khan revealed that a group of union ministers will be formed so that the decision is approved in the cabinet and later President will be approached on the matter. Resolution will be passed in the assembly so as to complete constitutional formalities.
