Hyderabad: The situation had become tense after the deaths of three pregnant women in Govt. Kothi Maternity Hospital, Sultan Bazar in the operation theater during Caesarian operation.
After the deaths of Jayamma, Shardara and Archana, their relatives had created uproar in the hospital.
Dr. C. Lakshma Reddy, Health Minister issued orders for investigations. The Minister told that whosoever is responsible for these deaths and have not provided the required facilities, have to face serious action.
It may be mentioned that two pregnant women had died during the operation process and the third one died in Osmania General Hospital when she was sent from Govt. Maternity Hospital, Kothi due to the alleged negligence of the doctors.
The minister ordered the Director of Medical Education, Dr. Ramani to investigate and submit report immediately.
