Hyderabad, October 21: Over 30 pro-Telangana outfits came together today to co-ordinate their activities in the fight for a separate statehood, which is to be carved out of Andhra Pradesh.
“The Telangana Praja Front floated by balladeer Gaddar is against contesting in elections. We have a basic difference of opinion with him on this point. So, we have come together and we are not averse to fight elections,” MLC and Telangana Vimochana Samiti (TVS) leader K Dileep Kumar told reporters.
“But we are not against Gaddar or TRS,” he said.
A prominent member of the committee Vimala, a pro-Telangana activist, broke ranks with Gaddar due to difference of opinion on contesting elections.
“The coordination committee would chalk out our programmes and others would support them,” Kumar said.
