Parliamentary Secretary Srinivas Goud has described the Telangana’s budget for 2015-16 as a pro-development and visionary budget for the new State.
Speaking to media persons at Assembly’s media point, Srinivas Goud said that the TRS Government was successful in presenting over Rs 1 lakh crore budget for the second consecutive year. He recalled that the then Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had threatened that he would not release single paise for Telangana. However, he said after the formation of separate State, the same Telangana is having a budget of more than Rs 1 lakh crore.
Srinivas Goud said that the budget allocations clearly prove that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been implementing all the promises that he made with the people of Telangana. He praised the allocations done for the development of Hyderabad and its outskirts. He said that the budget gives a clear message that KCR wants to make Hyderabad a world class city. (INN)
