Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra has stunned the film fraternity with reports that she will get a whooping INR 9 crore as remuneration for the remake of 1973 film Zanjeer.
However, reports say that these are just stories circulated to hype Priyanka’s stature in B-town. In reality she is reportedly getting just under INR 6 crore.
For Priyanka’s die-hard fans, it is sad news but those who like Kareena Kapoor must be feeling happy for she remains as the costliest actress in Bollywood with a reported fee of INR 7 crore for Heroine.
In comparison to Priyanka, her co-star and the lead actor in the film, Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja, will reportedly get INR 12 crore for the film.
Buzz is that this amount is INR 2 crore more than what he usually charges down south. This means that it is Teja who is getting a raise even though Zanjeer will mark his debut as an actor in Bollywood.
