Mumbai, September 09: For movie buffs who think that they already knew which of the 12 Priyanka Chopra’s Harman Baweja marries at the end of her forthcoming flick “What’s Your Raashee” under the banner of big director Ashutosh Gowarikar.
However, the director of the movie has changed the bride selection criteria completely. Harman’s character role moves away with a different girl.
It will take a while to convince the novelist Madhu Rye but Ashutosh has finally made sense in convincing the litterateur that an identical ending in the film will spoil the mood of those who had already read this novel.
The author of the novel, Rye had also never imagined that all the 12 characters will be played by the single actor in the flick which Ashutosh is going to direct while the filmmaker has made his mind.
For this the director revealed, “If I had 12 different actresses playing the 12 brides-in-waiting, a star-hierarchy would’ve been created in the audiences’ mind. And the one Harman would’ve married would’ve been considered ‘The Star’ of the show. I wanted all the 12 girls to be looked on with equal curiosity and interest by the audience. And for that I need to take up the challenge of making one actress play all the 12 parts.”
