Mumbai, August 15: When it comes to Bollywood releases, time and again one hears a declaration from the makers that ‘audiences should leave their brains behind before stepping into auditorium’. However, Priyanka Chopra makes an exception and insists that her latest release KAMINEY respects the intelligence of the audiences and wants them to bring their brains to the theaters.
“Frankly speaking I don’t like it at all when we keep making such statements that so and so film doesn’t require audiences to wear a thinking cap. My question is – Why? Why should we underestimate the intelligence of Indian audiences? Why do we believe that they want everything on the platter? Why don’t we make a cinema going experience so exciting and engrossing for them that they actually go on to exclaim ‘wow'”, Priyanka asks a series of questions here on the eve of the release of Vishal Bhardwaj directed KAMINEY.
