Mumbai, October 03: Hurman Baweja rubbishes rumours of a fall-out between him and Priyanka Chopra. On the contrary he insists that they are still ‘close friends’.
“I know Priyanka for a long time and we both have always maintained that we are good friends. There were reports which claimed that we were seeing each other and then it was written that we had broken up, but that’s not true at all. Priyanka and I have been friends and we are still close. All these things won’t affect our friendship,” he says.
Speaking about his relationships, Hurman says love marriage excites him the most. “I’m happy in my personal space right now and very much single. In fact I have been like that for a very long time. Also I’m relatively young now (28) and so thankfully no one in my family is asking me to get married.
My grandmother is also cool with me being the way I am right now. But I hope to find someone before my family starts looking for a bride. I would love to have a love marriage. I would love to know the person a little better before getting into the frying pan,” he says, laughing.
Ask him about the qualities he seeks in a woman, and he says, “My girl should have great family values. In today’s time it is that much more important. I’m a very honest person and I would love my girl to be very honest too. Also, I would look for a lot of compassion and love in a girl.”
After a brief pause he adds, “She should also be exciting in nature. I would expect her to ask me to go for bungee jumping. Last but not the least, I should find her attractive. It does not matter if she does not have conventional good looks but for me she should be attractive. And one more thing (chuckles), she should also know how to cook because I can cook and I think cooking together is the most romantic thing a couple can do.”
