A few inmates of the Chhatarpur district jail were found to be in an inebriated state after they returned from a court last evening. Medical tests at the district hospital later confirmed that Ankur Mishra, Sunil Pathak, Akhilesh Sahu, Munna Pathan, Pappu Chourasia and Chhotu alis Nihal had liquor during the ‘outing’. Jail Superintendent Anil Singh Parihar said a total of 29 prisoners had been sent for a court appearance. Probe was on as to how these six prisoners managed to get their hands on liquor, he said.
