Patiala, March 04: One prisoner was killed by another prison inmate today at the central jail here, police said.
Nirmal Singh alias Nimma was killed when Ajay Kumar allegedly hit him with a brick following a quarrel.
Singh, hailing from village Jhajli in Sangrur district, was undergoing life imprisonment while Ajay Kumar is facing murders charges, police said.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
