In a minor reshuffle, a key aide of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was today transferred out of the Chief Minister’s Office.
A Giridhar, who was handpicked by Naidu as the Principal Secretary of CMO, was today replaced in just six months.
Giridhar has now been posted as the Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development department.
Another senior IAS officer D Sambasiva Rao has been posted as Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
The CMO saw two changes in top bureaucratic posts within six months as another Principal Secretary, Ajay Sawhney, was also “eased out” of his duties last month.
However, Sawhney continues to be in the CMO, pending his deputation to the Government of India.
IAS officer Satish Chandra, who has served as Naidu’s secretary during his previous stint, has replaced Sawhney as the new Principal Secretary in the CMO.
Posting in place of Giridhar in the office is yet to be done.
Ajay Jain, another senior IAS officer, has been posted as Secretary in the key Infrastructure and Investment Department that will oversee the development of the state’s new capital, among other things.
Jain has also been given additional charge of the Investment Corporation of AP as its Managing Director in place of Natarajan Gulzar, who is set to move to the Centre.
