Hyderabad, January 28: The Silver Jubilee celebration of Mukarram Jah School run by Mukarram Jah Trust was kicked off by Princess Esra on January 25. The school children gave a warm welcome to princess Esra on her arrival at Masarrat Mahal. Following the presentation of guard of honour, princess unfurled the school flag.
The inaugural session began with Quranic recitation. Mr. Mir Kamaluddin Ali Khan, secretary Mukarram Jah Trust delivered welcome address. He told that Nawab Mukarram Jah Bahadur using his vision and farsightedness saved a large portion of his property for the trust so that the work of educational institutions could be carried out.
Mrs. Fakhrunnisa Faheem principal in her speech told that the Mukarram Jah School was established 25 years ago when the strength was 90, now it has come up to 2800.
