Washington: A famous quote reads – “Brothers are as close as hands and feet” – and it seems like Prince Harry believes in it in real life too.
From big brother to best friend and now best man, Prince William is all geared up to be the best man for Harry’s royal wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018, according to E! Online.
According to sources, the betrothed royal has already asked William to be his best man when Harry and Meghan tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle this May.
The source said, “Harry has several close guy friends, but there’s no way he would ask anyone but William to take on the top job.”
As of now, there is no confirmation on whether the Duke of Cambridge has said yes to his brother’s kind offer.
The source adds that Kate Middleton will not have a role in the nuptials.
Traditionally, there isn’t a “best man” at a royal wedding. Instead grooms have “supporters”.
However, Prince William broke with tradition and had Harry be his best man when he married Middleton in 2011.
Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton served as maid of honor.
Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle will get married at Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel in May next year. (ANI)
