Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), J&K 2018-19 is a scholarship for students having domicile of J&K state.
The scholarship has been introduced to build capacities of the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
Who is offering this scholarship:
The AICTE – All India Council for Technical Education under the rules of Ministry of Human Resource Development is offering this scholarship with an objective to enhance and formulate employment opportunities in Jammu & Kashmir.
Who can apply for this scholarship:
Students must have the domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir.The students who have passed Class 12 from J&K Board or CBSE affiliated schools located in J&K.
Students having completed 10+3 Diploma from J&K State Polytechnics will be eligible for the direct entry in the second year on the vacant seats of professional category of 2017-18 batch.
The students who are willing to study outside the state of J&K.The students having the family income of INR 8 Lac per annum or below.

Terms and Conditions:
Admission Procedure:Every Student will be required to give preferences/choices of colleges.
AICTE will open counseling centers at Jammu / Srinagar for actual admissions in the institutions identified under the scheme.
Every candidate will have to be present for the counseling.The student remaining absent will not be eligible for the scholarship in any case.
Allotment of seats will be made through counseling only.
No change will be allowed after counseling is over under any circumstances.
