Prime Minister Inefficient – Dattatreya

Dubbing the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh as an inefficient one, the State BJP has alleged that the former had failed to instill confidence among the victims of Dilsukhnagar bomb blasts. BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya said, “I have never seen such a waste Prime Minister and I will not see even in the future like him”.

Speaking to the media at their party office here on Monday, Dattatreya has alleged that the Prime Minister has not dared to announce that he will initiate steps to suppress terrorism in Hyderabad City. He alleged that the Prime Minister’s visit to the bomb blast site was similar to a visit to flood hit areas.

Lashing out the State Government for enervating the Octopus, Dattatreya said that it was also abolished POTA. Stating that the problem of terrorism is not of a particular State, he said that it was a problem of the nation. Alleging that the interference of politics in laws has increased, Dattatreya has said that the Government has to send back the foreigners, who were staying illegally here, immediately to their native countries.

Demanding the State Government to convene an all-party meeting to discuss on the issue, Dattatreya has said that the political parties have to stop vote-bank politics. He alleged that Hyderabad City has become a hub of terrorists and entire world’s concentration was on Hyderabad. He said that NCTC was not enough to suppress the terrorism and demanded the Government to revive POTA immediately. He alleged that the Centre assured to bring the Octopus abolishing the POTA but enervated the Octopus.

Lashing out at the Prime Minister for stating that he was feeling great pain at the incident, Dattatreya alleged that the Prime Minister was shedding crocodile tears. He alleged that both the Prime Minister and Chief Minister failed to respond when the victims themselves asked to provide jobs, more so they spoken in a weak tone. The Centre failed to provide clear information on bomb blasts and the intelligence wing totally failed in this regard. He said that extending economic help and expressing condolence is not enough on the part of Government. The Government has to initiate tough steps to curb the terrorism. He asked as to who will own the responsibility of the bereaved families of the Dilsukhnagar bomb blasts.

He demanded the State Government to send back the foreigners, who were staying illegally, and seize their visas and passports immediately and suggested the Government not to link this issue with caste, religion and nation. He alleged that it was unfortunate on the part of MIM to oppose the vacation of persons who were staying illegally in the City.

ALL PARTY MEET ON TERRORISM

He asked all political parties particularly Congress to respond on terrorism seriously to curb it and said that the problem is not confined to BJP only. He demanded the State Government to convene an all-party meeting as part of eradication of terrorism and discusses steps to be taken to suppress the terrorism. He alleged that the Prime Minister’s visit cleared that the Government was not in a position to suppress the terrorism. He alleged that the present Government was a waste one. He said that the State was facing terrorism attacks for the last six years but the Government did nothing in taking the steps to curb it.

Asking the Government, which was providing high security to the Chief Minister, Ministers and their daises, whether there was no need of security to the people, Dattatreya said that he asked all political parties to prepare a comprehensive law in the coming budget sessions of the Parliament and Assembly discussing elaborately on the issue.
