Ghaziabad, May 18: A temple priest was allegedly murdered by her wife and adopted son in Loni town here, police said today. Priest Girdhar was killed in his house by his wife Madhu (45) and their adopted son Vivek (27), SSP Raghubir Lal said.
Madhu was having an illicit relationship with Vivek to which Girdhar objected. Yesterday, she along with her adopted son strangulated her husband to death.
A 6-year-old daughter of Girdhar disclosed the matter to the police following which both Madhu and Vivek were arrested, Lal said.
