Pride of country lies in preserving Sanatana Dharma :TTD EO

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is one of the biggest Hindu religious institutions practing and promoting Hindu Santana Dharma, showing its legacy to the world with various religious and charitable activities’, TTD Executive officer LV Subramanyam said here today. Addressing on the occasion of 66th Independence Day celebrations after flag hoisting ceremony here, Mr Subramanyam said, TTD is committed to the cause of protecting Hindu Dharma. ‘Our sages, ancestors and predecessors taught us to lead life full of ethics and human values by practicing Hindu Sanatana Dharma.

Listing out various pro-pilgrim and dharmic activites mulled by TTD, the EO said on the pilgrim front TTD has been putting sincere efforts to provide hassle free and comfortable darshan and stay to pilgrims visiting Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara. ‘Even we have introduced technology to have more transparency in the administrative set up,he said We have set up information kiosks,bio-metric, photo-metric systems, hi-fi security etc. for the sake of pilgrims’.

‘Apart from providing darshan and other amenities to pilgrims, TTD has given due importance on welfare front also and started various schemes for the benefit of general public which includes free hospitals, free orphanage centres, free poor and destitute homes, he said. With a mission to propagate Hindu dharma, TTD has been organising various spiritual and dharmic programmes like Saraswathi Yagam for the sake of Students, Kareeri Isthi Yagam for the prosperity, Srinivasa Kalyanams, training classes to under previleged groups in priesthood, Srivari Seva voluntary service to cater the needs of pilgrims, renovation of Tirupati and Tirumala museums for the sake of future generations as museums are treasure houses of our rich culture and heritage, digitisation of manuscripts, Govindam Paramanandam etc. The prime motto of TTD is to protect the Hindu dharma to establish a healthy society’, he maintained. At Tirumala, abode of lord venkateswaray, The Independence Day has been celebrated with great patriotic fervour . Tirumala Joint Executive officer KS Srinivasa Raju hoisted the National Tri-colour flag in front of Vigilance and Security Office. TTD’s prime aim is to propagate Hindu Dharma, provide amenities to pilgrims visiting Tirumala Shrine, he called upon the officials and employees of various departments to dedicate in the service of pilgrims. Additional CVSO Shivakumar Reddy and other officials were also present. UNI
