Chennai, January 16: The price of thoor dal moved down, while that of urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji remained unchanged during the week under review on the wholesale foodgrains market ended today.
The price of thoor dal went down by Rs 400 per quintal to Rs 7,600 against the previous week”s level of Rs 8,000.
Sugar opened at Rs 4,150, netting a gain of Rs 100 but declined to settle at previous week”s rate of Rs 4,050. Prices of rest of the major commodities remained at their previous week”s closing rates
