Prez leaves for Delhi after Southern sojourn

President Pranab Mukherjee today left for the national capital after his 10-day Southern sojourn from Secunderabad. Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandraeskhar Rao, his cabinet colleagues and officials gave send-off to the President at the Hakimpet Airport from where he left for Delhi in a special Indian Air Force flight.

During his stay in the State, the President participated in various programs in Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala States. On Friday evening, the President hosted At Home at Rashtrapathi Nilayam for ministers, officials and journalists. Union Minister Bandaru Dattatraya, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiam Srihari and Mohammed Mahamood Ali, ministers Nayani  Narasimha Reddy, K T Rama Rao, G Jagadish Reddy, A Indrakaran Reddy, MP Vinod Kumar, Government advisor Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary Pradip Chandra, Information Commissioner Navin Mittal and others were present.
