Pressures of stardom too much for Kristen Stewart

Mumbai, June 28: It has been informed by sources that Twilight star Kristen Stewart doesn’t seem to be too comfortable with the mega stardom that she has achieved with the success of the ”Twilight” series.

The actress received much flak recently over her not-so-friendly attitude with fans during her ”Eclipse” promotional tour in Australia.

The Daily Telegraph quoted Stewart as telling a British magazine, “You don’t see the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre, intrusive questions being asked or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor lit up by a flash.”

The American star doesn’t like being hounded by the paparazzi too.

She added, “It’s so… The photos are so… I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time, I can’t handle it. It’s f*cked. I never expected this would be my life.”

“I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t do this. I’m sure I’d find something else. The thing about acting [is], you could get into something else. You could write, because you have that mind. If you couldn’t act, it would definitely manifest in different areas. But I’d be devastated. I don’t want to stop,” she said.

While Stewart has not spoken about her relationship with co-star Robert Pattinson , the Brit actor called rumors of their engagement “bullsh*t” and is often quick to defend his co-star.
