Pressure mounting on Seema Andhra Ministers for resignation

People of Seema Andhra are exerting pressure on Central Ministers belonging to Seema Andhra region to resign their ministerial berths. Congress High Command has already clarified that the decision to form separate Telangana State will not be taken back. Seeing the ongoing anti-Telangana agitation in Seema Andhra region, a few ministers are prepared to resign whereas other ministers are reluctant. Some of the Ministers think that by tendering resignations nothing is going to happened. It is to be observed whether the Center ministers would tender their resignations after the cabinet note is approved. Will they accept the decision of Congress High Command or will they tender their resignation is to be seen. Due to difference of opinion among the ministers, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy is also confused. He advised the State Ministers to decide mass resignations after the approval of Telangana bill in the Parliament. On account of Seema Andhra agitation of Govt. employees, State Ministers are not in a position to visit their constituencies. Pressure is mounting on them for tendering resignations. By tendering resignation from the ministry, Animal Husbandry Minister, Mr. B. Vishwaroop has created difficulties for his colleagues. He not only resigned from his post but made it sure that his resignation is accepted.

It is reported that Transport Minister and A.P.C.C. President, Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana also wanted to resign from the ministry to gain favour from the public but Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy foiled his plans. He persuaded his close confidant, Mr. Vishwaroop to resign first and recommended his case to Governor of A.P. for accepting his resignation. In this manner, Vishwaroop has become the first minister to resign against the formation of Telangana. If Mr. Satyanarayana tenders his resignation, he will be the second minister. Mr. Satyanarayana wanted to emerge as a staunch supporter of Seema Andhra. After the submission of resignation letters of seven MPs of Seema Andhra, the difficulties of the State Ministers of A.P. have increased and they are in a confused state of mind.
