TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged that imposition of President’s rule in Andhra Pradesh would be a blot on democracy.
Alleging that the Congress party was unable to provide a stable government whenever it came to power, Naidu said corruption and irregularities have been increased under Congress regime. Having understanding with YSRCP and TRS by the Congress is like the proverb “falling into its own grave”, the TDP leader quipped. Naidu said the Congress has preferred to impose President’s rule because of the piquant situation it was facing as its own MLAs and ministers were criticizing the party, he added. (NSS)
